Did this on weatherforce for a while before packing it in , but after having a think about it , i'll restart my synoptic chart analysis posts. I'll update them daily with link to met office FAX charts.

06 UTC , Sat 20th Feb 2010.
High pressure (996mb) , centered north of glasgow , bringing dry and bright weather to scotland and northern england. Slack isobars show light winds for most of the UK and an occluded front west of scotland will bring wintry showers to the western isles. Troughs over ireland and SW england will also bring showers , probably wintry. Low pressure (982mb) located east of the UK will move eastwards into scandevnavia.

Complex Low (971mb) , centered over northern france , with 3 fronts associated with it , with 2 working there way towards southern england. Low (990mb) located west of scotland , with occlusion moving east over northern ireland in the next 24 hours. Trough over central/southern scotland bringing wintry showers , possibley longer spells

Warm/Cold Front just touching eastern fringes of United Kingdom , brining cloudy conditions with a chance of some light rain. High Pressure (1031mb) centered in western ireland and ain't gonna move anywhere soon , so cold nights with temps being milder than late.
