| Spain, highly talked about team (2nd in the world) beaten 1-0 by Switzerland (24 in the world) Certainly an interesting world cup! | |

| Fifa rankings mean nothing. But a good result for Switzerland. Wonder if Spain will go out in the first round now. | |

| A stunningly shocking performance from England. We dont deserve to win the group stage after that. | |

| Wayne Rooney has been a gobby man too recently. Doesnt know when to keep his mouth shut. The fans booed them as they went off last night and Rooney as ever had something to say. He is fast gone from one of the most fav players to one of the worst imo. | |

| The fans had every right to boo the players. They spent thousands on going to South Africa took days off work, used up holiday days, etc. To witness what? A bunch of over paid men run about and struggle to find the back of the net. Rooney should shut up and think before he speaks. | |

Agreed, i honesty can't believe Rooney was moaning about the fans booing yet he did not come infront of the cameras to moan about how poor the performance was. Maybe because he's not used to losing at home with Man United and the fact that Man U "fans" don't boo anyways has got the better of him. I think Capello should now ditch Heskey and put Gerrard in a more attacking role. 2 reasons really, 1, Gerrard is a better player at holding and passing the ball although last night, he was very poor in this, and 2, he's more of a goal threat than heskey, the stats proves this. It was one of the worse England performances i have ever watched and the players deserve all the stick they get. Rather worryingly, with the increased foreign influence of players coming into the Premier League, maybe we are seeing the first signs of decline as a major team? Considering our team is fairly old and our first choice keeper is Calimty David James then the future is not looking good. Anyways, the main thing is, we beat Solvenia and get through to the knockout stages. And whilst we are still in it, theres always a chance for these group of players to prove the doubters wrong and win the World Cup! | |

| It would be quite funny. Stores, adverts and people have gone mad this year. A lot of people will certainly be annoyed if England don't do it. I think they will make it through. Hoe far they get remains to be seen! | |

| I knew that reply was coming. We had Holland in our group and only one team could go through from our group. If you got drawn into that group you wouldn't have gone through. | |
