found this out just a minute ago

"Group Vows to Return Concorde to Flight

February 25, 2010— An organization aiming to
make the Concorde an aircraft again recently received encouraging news for their
long-shot effort. UK-based Save Concorde Group(SCG) reports that its French counterpart,
“Olympus 593” – after the Rolls Royce turbojet that powered Concorde - has
received permission from the Le Bourget Air Museum, Paris, to start working on
the Air France Concorde “Sierra Delta,” which is based there.
The group’s main goal is to return one of the retired supersonic aircraft
back to airworthy condition and fly it with the RAF’s Red Arrows aerobatic team
over the 2012 Olympic Games in London. And if that occurs, says Andrew Walter,
SCG’s U.S. Liaison, another goal would be to fly a Concorde to EAA AirVenture
Oshkosh.
“Now this is a long shot, and we do not know if British Airways, or even Air
France would allow this to happen, but I myself am a strong believer in ‘What
man can dream, is what man can achieve,’” Walter wrote in an e-mail.
In a post to their website, SCG said they and Olympus 593 had negotiated with
Le Bourget officials and that Sierra Delta’s Rolls engines “will be powered
up.”
“Given this support within France, which is combined with that of our support
network here in the UK, it is highly probable that this French Concorde, could
be the first of the original airframes to once again become an aircraft and not
a technological relic,” the website reads.
Concorde was scheduled to be the main attraction at AirVenture 2000 but the
aircraft’s one and only crash occurred in Paris that week, grounding the fleet.
The fleet was officially retired in 2003. Concorde made five previous Oshkosh
appearances, and the 40th anniversary of its first flight was celebrated at
AirVenture last year."

Looking Good! , Yipee!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8712806.stm

"The engines on a French Concorde are to be examined as the first move in a £15m project aiming to get the supersonic passenger jet back in the air.
The Rolls Royce engines of the former Air France Concorde will undergo an initial examination to see what work needs to be done to start the engines.
Concorde was retired seven years ago, but it is hoped the jet could return to flight in a heritage capacity.
The tests by a French-British team will take place at an air museum near Paris.
The work at the Le Bourget Air and Space Museum is being done through a partnership between the British Save Concorde Group, SCG, and a French group Olympus 593."

Imo it would be fantastic to see concorde back in the skies again , whether it be a british airways or air france one. Ive got one on display at the museam of flight around 5 miles away (G-BOAA) and ive been inside it , magnificent aircraft!

EDIT : http://www.concordesst.com/home.html
great website showing the history of concorde and it's many ups and downs until retirement in 2003.
