More Storms to Batter the Med

Not a good winter at all down around the Med as further Storms are forecast to hit the area. Their usual rainfall for Winter is about 400mm. This year its closer to 1400mm.

Probably because we are covered in high pressure and lows are being pushed down further south. Sometimes you can see it on the pressure charts lows coming in high pressure says spots taken so low pressure goes south.

Jet stream has been on a prolonged holiday as well. Not surprised with the pattern this year! No wonderthey have had so much rainfall!

I regret to announce that i have decided to end Weather Connect. It is a thing that demands quite alot of time to do sometimes and its something i will not have time to deal with come the new school year anyway.

Weather often has limited interest compared to other areas and i do not have the money to keep things going.

Its time to get your Weather pictures in again! Spring may not have been as exciting as the Winter just gone but there have been cloudscapes, nature pictures, wildlife chances etc across the country.

Please post any pictures here that have been taken during March, April or May 2010.
Closing date for images is on the 30th June 2010.

The video should be ready in the first week of July.
