Ok remember about nearly a year ago swine flu was the most talked about thing anywhere you would go whether you where at school, work or out and about. It was all over the internet, TV and newspapers.

But 1 year on whats happend to swine flu? I think it was overhyped by the media. I haven't heard anyone mention it since around last November!! Kinda like bird flu overhyped by the media the way they were going half of the world would be dead by now.

Whilst it was overhyped as per usual by the media, don't be fooled by the lack of swine flu casulties. There will be many of those that are not reported and the risk just does not dissapear within a few months.

The vaccine is still being offered to people and even if we don't hear any reports of it, don't get too complicent.

I have to say though, the scaremongering from that health officier who stated that Swine flu would get worse as we head through the winter needs to be shot for saying that. Caused mass panic and when it was headline news, you overhear convos of people worrying about it and not being vigilant.
