Really hoping the Lib Dems win this. Labour would be good as well. I hate the SNP they have done nothing for us after they won here last time. Neutral

should have done a postal vote sean! lol

This is gonna be one of the closet elections in quite some time imo. All 3 parties are in with a chance of getting the number of seats (200 something) to form the goverment. Hung parliment is however incredibly likely , and if it is , it will be the first one since 1974 and possible 2nd election in september. East Lothian has really got 3 main parties in with a chance of winning it , those being the SNP , Labour and Lib Dems. We have been labour since 1983 and they usually have a majority of around 8,000 votes here but i was reading in the scotsman that a swing of only 8.4% is needed by the lib dems to win it here.

Local sports centre is being used for polling on thursday and the regional count is being done at the corn exchange (3 seats away). I think they're aiming for 2am to declare the winner.

Looking forward to this one!

good good sean , polls open at 7am tommorow and close at 10pm. Most consttituencies begin to declare at around 1am and finish at around 6am. I wonder if Sunderland North will be first to declare this time round , has been the last 4 elections! , lol

Might do an all nighter and watch the results on TV.

Will there be a all night coverage anywhere?

It is exciting going to vote in the evening. The helicopter comes here at 10pm and lands on our football pitch to collect the votes.

Our Polling station is very busy today which suggests people really are concerned about who they want in charge.

We held a mock election in School today. Labour won followed by Lib Dems just behind and then Conservatives.

We done the same, Luke. Last time I won by one vote. I was suprised because my main rival was paying people to vote for him. Laughing

Today though the Conservatives won by a few votes. I looked at the results and it said

Spoilt Papers: 2

One of them was mine as I ticked all the boxes. Laughing I just wanted to annoy the teacher in charge of it all, she hates me and I hate her. Laughing
